Ameristar Casinos Declares Cash Dividend

Ameristar Casinos, Inc. (ASCA) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $.15625 per share, payable on June 20, 2005 to stockholders of record on June 6, 2005. The dividend will be paid on the outstanding shares prior to giving effect to the previously announced 2-for-1 split of the Company's common stock to become effective at the close of business on June 6, 2005.
