Province still seeking firm to head gambling study

The province is again looking for someone to study gambling’s social and economic impacts in Nova Scotia.The Environment and Labour Department first asked for proposals in August, but got only one response.Department spokesman Bill Turpin said Monday that response didn’t meet the department’s requirements. He wouldn’t give any further details.The bidder, Market Quest Research, didn’t return a call seeking comment Monday.
