Golden Spirit Changing Main Business Direction to Gaming -- Online Poker

BELLINGHAM, WA, Jun 15, 2005 -- Golden Spirit Mining Ltd. (GSML) announces that the Company will be changing the direction of its main business to gaming, specifically Online Poker.

The Company is negotiating with two separate entities to acquire the License, Financial Processing Systems and Customer Care Programs to facilitate the operations of www.goldenspiritpoker.com, the Company's online poker site.

Golden Spirit expects to finalize its transition to a full service online poker company within a very short time frame as it intends to capitalize on the fast-growing popularity of online poker especially among women and younger players.

Golden Spirit will act as host for the players online, taking no part or risk in the game but will charge players a commission or "rake."

Gaming consultancy Christiansen Capital forecast online gaming revenue will rise to US$22.7 billion by 2009 from US$8.2 billion in 2004. It estimated that online gaming's share of the global market will rise to 8.1% from 3.4%.

Management has decided that for now its current Ester Creek-Alaskan Gold Property and its bid for Uranium concessions will be held in a wholly owned subsidiary of the parent public company.
